September Luncheon Presentation: Denali National Park’s Polychrome Pass Improvements Project and Pretty Rocks Slide Bridge

Join us as we kick-off our fall luncheon schedule with a visit from ITE Western District President and a presentation on Jacob's Pretty Rocks Slide Bridge. Since late August 2021, a portion of the Denali Park Road has been displaced by the Pretty Rocks Landslide, cutting off vehicular access to half of the road. The Federal Highways Administration, Western Federal Lands Division, in collaboration with the National Park Service and the Jacobs design team, developed the Polychrome Area Improvements plan to restore reliable road access to the western half of the park.
